Reception for the Northern Ireland Executive in New York

Tom Moran, chief executive of Mutual of America welcomed ministers from the new Northern Ireland Executive at a reception to meet with leaders of the New York business and Irish American communities. The visit to the United States was organised by the Executive’s diplomatic office in Washington DC , the Northern Ireland Bureau. This was the first time ministers from the different parties visited as a unified government, outlining their priorities and delivering a strong message about the benefits of the Northern Irish economy for New York investors and members of the business community. Ministers were introduced to the audience by Bill Flynn, chairman of Mutual of America. Mr Flynn and Mr Moran have been involved in Northern Irish issues for many years.
